Academic Technology Services uses Adobe Presenter to synchronize video, audio, and PowerPoint slides to create learning modules that are searchable (on the PowerPoint text) and include the ability to offer text files of the audio. Sample uses range from a single event, such as a guest speaker's presentation that the university would like to capture, to putting course lectures online.
Some faculty use this tool to provide additional opportunities for students to learn difficult concepts. An additional advantage of creating course content using Adobe Presenter is that it prevents downloading or copying of copyrighted or copyrightable materials by students.
