AV Presentation & Special Event Support

Academic Technology Services' Special Event Support unit provides audio/visual consultation and support for events that require professional sound, presentation support, video, or any other special event technical needs.

Business Analysis

The IET Project Management Office offers a wide range of IT Business Analysis support services to campus units, ranging from processes, tools and best practices; to limited term consultations; to full scale, long-term business analysis engagements. Custom Telecommunications Service Order

Unique telecommunications requirements that need a technical review by staff to clearly define scope and solution for non-standard telecommunication work. For example, requesting AT&T services for an off-campus location is a custom service order.

Desktop Support

IET Professional Services provides end user device support to staff and faculty for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.

Gartner Research Service

Faculty, staff and students now have free access to Gartner research, white papers, webinars and more on an array of complex IT issues, emerging technologies, and industry trends. 

Graphic Design & Illustration

ATS illustration and graphic design services support our academic, research, and outreach missions by providing custom illustrations, graphics, icon development, brochure and poster design, cartoons, 2D animation, and advanced multimedia and PowerPoint development.

IT Express Service Desk

IT Express is the campus' computing services help desk, offering technical support and consulting services to UC Davis students, faculty, and staff. IT Express provides support for the latest Windows and Macintosh operating systems, email clients, web browsers, various software, and campus applications and services.

LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda)

LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) offers online, video-based training on thousands of topics, including office software, data analysis, business, design, communication, programming, marketing and many more. 

The training ranges from beginner to advanced, and LinkedIn Learning provides "Learning Paths" to guide learners through a series of courses to go from absolute beginner to expert.

Photography

Professional photographic services, both in-studio and on-location, including image editing and enhancement. 

Typical assignments include faculty portraits, class and departmental photo composites, scientific and research documentation, instructional enhancement, and news and public communication.

Project Management

The IET Project Management Office offers a wide range of IT Project Management support services to campus units, ranging from templates and best practices, to limited term consultations, to full scale, long-term project management engagements.

Telecommunications Engineering Request

Engineer, design, and installation of complete telecommunication services (voice, data, video) for new construction (minor/major capital), renovation, at on and off campus locations.

Video Production

ATS specializes in academic and research-based video production services, including classroom lecture capture, studio recordings, single and multi-camera recordings of seminars and special campus events, live webcasting, content development for online learning modules, and support for the faculty eLearning studio.
