Business analysis investigates business situations, identifies and evaluates options for improving business systems, defining requirements and ensuring the effective use of information systems in meeting the needs of the business. Solutions often include a software-systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development.
The IET PMO focuses on applying IT solutions to business needs. A business analyst will provide:
- Provide a holistic view of a business process or system.
- Provide business system improvement recommendations.
- Comprehensive documentation of IT system business requirements.
- Elicitation of requirements as user-stories in support of agile software development.
Services are available during normal business hours. Once engaged, your assigned resource will adjust to your project and business work hours.
